NEW YORK | The 2026 Skyline Conference Championship is set as the league’s top four teams prepare to battle for the conference title.

Four-time defending champion St. Joseph’s University, Long Island returns as the No. 1 seed after a dominant regular season, finishing 19-9 overall and a perfect 14-0 in Skyline play. The Golden Eagles will look to capture their fifth consecutive conference crown on their home floor.

No. 2 seed Purchase College (12-13, 10-4 Skyline) secured the second spot following a strong conference campaign, while Manhattanville University (10-13, 9-5 Skyline) earned the No. 3 seed. Rounding out the field is No. 4 seed St. Joseph’s University, Brooklyn (11-9, 8-6 Skyline).

The championship features a four-team, single-elimination format, with semifinal contests hosted by the top two seeds. Winners will advance to the championship game, which will be hosted by the highest remaining seed.

Semifinal action begins Wednesday, April 8, with top-seeded St. Joseph’s Long Island hosting St. Joseph’s Brooklyn at 7:00 p.m. in Patchogue, while No. 2 Purchase welcomes No. 3 Manhattanville for a 7:00 p.m. first serve in Purchase.

St. Joseph’s Long Island enters the semifinal having swept the regular-season series against St. Joseph’s Brooklyn, earning two straight-set victories during conference play.
The second semifinal features a tightly contested matchup between Purchase and Manhattanville, who split their regular-season meetings. Each team earned a conference victory, setting up a decisive rubber match.

The two semifinal winners will advance to the Skyline Conference Championship on Saturday, April 11, with the contest hosted by the highest remaining seed. The tournament champion will earn the conference’s automatic qualifier to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
