2026 Men's Volleyball All-Conference Teams Announced

NEW YORK | The Skyline Conference has announced its 2026 Men's Volleyball All-Conference Team and major award winners, highlighted by Co-Players of the Year AJ Esposito of St. Joseph's University, Long Island and Jeremias Martinez of St. Joseph's University, Brooklyn.

Esposito led the conference with a .528 hitting percentage in conference play and averaged 2.66 kills per set overall (2.88 in conference) while ranking first in the league with 0.93 blocks per set. The junior middle blocker totaled 38 blocks (11 solo) in Skyline matches.

Martinez paced St. Joseph's-Brooklyn, totaling 290 kills (210 in conference) and averaging 4.14 kills per set overall (4.29 in conference), while producing 4.93 points per set. He added 154 digs and 41 service aces, recording five double-doubles on the year and earning three Skyline Player of the Week honors, including back-to-back selections.

Libero of the Year honors went to St. Joseph's-Long Island senior Connor Ruais, who anchored one of the conference's top defensive units. Ruais averaged 2.87 digs per set overall (3.17 in conference) and totaled 250 digs (133 in conference), while adding 47 assists and earning five Skyline Libero of the Week honors.

Sarah Lawrence first-year outside hitter Jack Cahill earned Rookie of the Year honors after one of the most productive debut seasons in the country. Cahill led the Skyline and ranked among the NCAA leaders with 4.45 kills per set and 4.98 points per set overall (4.89 K/S, 5.49 P/S in conference), totaling 409 kills. He also contributed 2.12 digs per set while posting a .969 reception percentage, earning one Player of the Week and four Rookie of the Week selections during the season.

St. Joseph's-Long Island head coach Bill Kropp was named Coach of the Year, marking his seventh career honor and fifth consecutive selection. Kropp guided the Golden Eagles through another perfect conference schedule, 14-0, with top-seed honors.

First Team: Joining the major award winners on the First Team were Mateusz Karpow (Yeshiva), Trevor Kolar (Manhattanville), Jael Martinez (Purchase), Shaun Mischler (St. Joseph's-Long Island), and Dominic Ruggiero (St. Joseph's-Long Island).

Second Team: The Second Team includes Joe Gandarillas (Manhattanville), Danny Kanner (Purchase), Declan Kerns (St. Joseph's-Long Island), Raeden Nieves (Mount Saint Vincent), Udel Phillips (Purchase), Hector Ruiz (Purchase), Chris Sarnicola (St. Joseph's-Long Island), and Joey Toscano (Purchase).
