Esposito powered the Golden Eagles to a perfect 5-0 week, totaling 40 kills while hitting an impressive .492 across the stretch. The junior middle blocker averaged over 3.08 kills per set and added 12 total blocks (five solo, seven assists), anchoring both the offense and defense at the net. He recorded double-digit kills in multiple matches, including a 13-kill performance in a sweep of Mount Saint Vincent.

Libero of the Week

Connor Ruais, St. Joseph’s - Long Island
Senior, Libero; Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Connetquot

Ruais led the Golden Eagles defensively with 52 digs and 61 receptions during a 5-0 week. The libero averaged over 3.0 digs per set and added nine assists, showcasing his all-around back-row presence. He recorded double-digit digs in multiple matches, including a 14-dig effort against Sarah Lawrence while totaling 15 digs against Regis.

Freshman, Outside; Brooklyn, N.Y./Park Slope Collegiate

Cahill delivered a standout week for the Gryphons, piling up 73 kills, 43 digs, and seven aces across four matches. The first-year outside hitter averaged over 5.0 kills per set and recorded multiple dominant performances, including 33 kills in a five-set match against Old Westbury. Cahill posted double-digit digs in each of his final two matches of the week.

Jeremias Martinez, St. Joseph’s (BK) - Totaled 42 kills and 13 service aces across a 2-1 week, averaging 4.67 kills per set while hitting .364, highlighted by 18 kills against the Panthers
Shaun Mischler, St. Joseph’s (L.I.) - Contributed 34 kills, 21 digs, and six service aces in a 5-0 week for the Golden Eagles. The freshman outside hitter added seven total blocks and posted a .329 hitting percentage, including a 15-kill effort in a four-set win over Regis
Hector Ruiz, Purchase - Recorded 38 kills and hit an efficient .508 in two Skyline victories, averaging nearly 5.0 kills per set. He set a career high with 23 kills in a five-set win over Mount Saint Vincent and added 12 digs and five aces
