Karpow powered the Maccabees offensively with a dominant two-match stretch, totaling 42 kills while hitting an impressive .391 across contests against Sarah Lawrence and Lehman. The junior right-side recorded 20 kills on a .462 clip versus Sarah Lawrence before adding 22 kills at Lehman. He averaged 7.0 kills per set for the week while also contributing 18 digs and two service aces.

Libero of the Week

Michael Diamond, Manhattanville
Senior, Libero; Hamburg, N.Y./Hamburg

Diamond anchored the Valiants’ back row with 23 digs over a Saturday trimatch. The senior libero opened the day with a career-high 17 digs and an assist against King’s (Pa.) before adding six digs and another helper versus Hunter. Diamond averaged 3.83 digs per set across the two matches.


Rookie of the Week

Jack Cahil, Sarah Lawrence
Freshman, Outside Hitter; Brooklyn, N.Y./ Park Slope Collegiate

Cahill delivered a standout four-match week for the Gryphons, totaling 50 kills, 28 digs, and seven service aces as Sarah Lawrence went 3-1 and opened conference play with a victory. The first-year outside hitter hit .258 overall, posting at least nine kills in every match and surpassing 15 kills twice. He averaged 4.17 kills per set while contributing across all facets of the match, including 2.33 digs per set.

Trevor Kolar, Manhattanville - Recorded 16 kills, six digs, and two blocks in a Saturday tri-match, including nine kills and five digs against King’s (Pa.)
Joey Toscano, Purchase - Contributed eight digs, five assists and a kill across two non-conference contests, providing stability in serve-receive and the back row for the Panthers
