The senior opened Skyline play with her sixth double-double of the season, hammering 22 kills with 16 digs in a four-set win over Farmingdale. She followed with 14 kills, seven digs, and three assists against Union before closing with eight kills, eight digs, and two aces in a sweep of Nazareth.

Kayla Jennings, Manhattanville

Jennings anchored the Valiants’ back row, collecting 68 digs (5.23/set), eight assists, and eight service aces across three matches. In Manhattanville’s Skyline-opening win over Farmingdale, she posted 23 digs, three assists, and an ace. She followed with a career-high 31 digs and three assists against Union, before serving up a career-best six aces to go with 14 digs in the victory over Nazareth.

Rookie of the Week

Addison Weist, Maritime
Freshman, Outside Hitter; Staten Island, N.Y./St. Joseph’s Hill

Weist delivered a breakout week, averaging 3.67 kills per set while hitting a combined .327 with seven aces in Maritime’s 2-0 stretch. The freshman notched 10 kills on .318 hitting and added five aces in a sweep of Lehman, then followed with a match-high 12 kills on a career-best .333 hitting percentage along with two aces and five digs in a sweep of York.
