November 15, 2025 | Harrison, N.Y. – Top-seeded Manhattanville University continued its dynasty atop Skyline women's volleyball, sweeping third-seeded St. Joseph's University-Long Island (25–7, 25–17, 25–14) on Saturday afternoon at Kennedy Gymnasium to win the 2025 Skyline Conference Championship — the program's fourth consecutive conference title — and secure the league's automatic berth to the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championship.
Valiants Extend Skyline Dominance
The Valiants (21–7, 12–0 Skyline) put on a commanding performance in front of their home crowd, hitting .323 as a team while holding the Golden Eagles to a .038 clip. Cassidy Fallon led the way with 11 kills on .733 hitting, while Caylin Caballero added 10 kills and five digs.
Loren Hernandez, named the Tournament's Most Outstanding Player, capped another stellar postseason with nine kills, two aces, and eight digs in the championship sweep. Setter Alana Rivera directed the offense with 23 assists and six service aces, and Samantha Andriola added nine assists and two aces. Kayla Jennings anchored the defense with a match-best 15 digs.
Manhattanville's victory extended its winning streak against Skyline opponents to 47 straight matches and marked the program's fourth consecutive championship (2022–25), first under head coach Matt Jessen.
Golden Eagles Finish as Skyline Runner-Up
St. Joseph's-Long Island (16–10, 8–3 Skyline) wrapped up a strong postseason run after a road victory over No. 2 U.S. Merchant Marine and No. 4 Mount Saint Mary at home. Alison Tsororos led the Golden Eagles with five kills, while Luciana D'Ambrosio added four kills and six digs. Setter Sarah Meininger posted 12 assists, and libero Sarah Montefusco recorded 14 digs in the effort.
