Hayes (above) won all three of his events in Maritime's tri-meet against St. Joseph's-Long Island and Brooklyn ... He swam the second leg on the victorious 200-yard medley relay squad and touched first in both of his individual events – the 100-yard butterfly (54.14) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:02.39).
Diver of the Week

Cable (above) won the 1M board with an NCAA qualifying score of 458.90 at the TCNJ Invitational ... The junior also placed third in the three-meter dive with a score of 425.25.
Rookie of the Week
Matt Klimek, Maritime
Freshman; Malverne, N.Y./Chaminade
Klimek (below) swam the anchor leg on Maritime's victorious 200-yard medley relay squad in a tri-meet with St. Joseph's-Long Island and Brooklyn ... He returned to the pool for the next event – the 1000-yard freestyle – and earned the win with a time of 12:13.53 ... Klimek added a second-place showing in the 500-yard freestyle (5:40.85).
Honor Roll
Sarah Lawrence junior Patrick Rau set two personal bests in the CSI Invitational that featured multiple DII schools, doing so in the 100 Butterfly and 500 Freestylel the junior also finished seventh in the 200 Butterfly with a time of 2:13.86 as his three top-12 finishes led the Gryphons to a sixth-place showing at the event ... Mount Saint Mary sophomore Michael D'Ambrosio had his personal best time in the 200 Backstroke and season best times in the 200 IM and 400 IM during the CSI Invitational ... U.S. Merchant Marine Academy sophomore Luke Dankert finished in the top eight in two individual events and two relay events at the ultra-competitive TCNJ Invitational; he placed fourth in the 100 Breaststroke in 57.52 and fifth in the 200 Breast in 2:04.63, and was also a member of the 200 Medley Relay that touched third in 1:33.99 and the 400 Medley Relay that placed fourth in 3:27.66.
