Frank (above) won three events in his collegiate debut at a quad-meet hosted by Mount Saint Mary ... He was the last leg of the 200 Medley Relay that started the day with a victory in 1:37.21 ... He then won both of his individual events – the 200 Individual Medley (1:58.61) and the 100 Freestyle (48.87).

Hayes (above) won three events in Maritime's dual meet at William Paterson ... He took first individually in both the 100 Butterfly (56.08) and 100 Breaststroke (1:02.07), while also swimming on the victorious 200 Medley Relay squad …Hayes grabbed second overall in the 100 Breaststroke (1:00.29) at the Privateers' Skyline quad meet against Mount Saint Mary, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and Sarah Lawrence to close the week.

During a loss to Brooklyn College, Whitmer (above) competed as the lone male diver and finished with a score of 89.00 ... During the same meet, he finished second in the 50 Free and 100 Free as well. 

Rookie of the Week 

Cody Lay, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy                                                                                    
Freshman; Bartlesville, Okla./Bartlesville 

Lay (below) won the first individual event of his collegiate career when he touched first in the 1000 Freestyle with a time of 9:55.80 at the Mariners' season-opening meet ... Lay was also the second leg of the 200 Free Relay team whose result was exhibitioned out, but did touch first in 1:34.13.

Honor Roll 

Maritime freshman Matt Klimek took first in the 100 Freestyle at the team's dual meet with William Paterson, finishing in a time of 54.11 seconds; he also secured fourth place overall in the 1000 Freestyle (12:00.76), as the Privateers swam against Skyline rivals MSMC, USMMA and SLC.
