NEW YORK | The United States Merchant Marine Academy has once again been picked as the team to beat, earning the top spot in the 2025 Skyline Conference Men’s Swimming & Diving Preseason Coaches’ Poll. The Mariners, winners of the last eight Skyline titles dating back to 2017, received 16 points and four first-place votes from the league’s head coaches.

Maritime followed closely with 13 points and one first-place vote, while Mount Saint Mary placed third with 12 points. St. Joseph’s-Long Island (7 points) and Sarah Lawrence (4 points) rounded out the poll.

The 2025 Skyline Conference Men’s Swimming & Diving Championship is scheduled for Saturday–Sunday, January 24–25, at Purchase College in Purchase, N.Y., where all five programs will compete for the league crown.
