Furchel's 3-0 play at No. 2 singles, and in doubles action (one at No. 2, two at No. 1) helped the Rams to a three-match sweep on its northern swing against Russell Sage, Plattsburgh State and Vermont State University Castleton … Furchel (above) was one of two Ram student-athletes to sweep through their singles matches on the weekend, providing consistent points at the top of the lineup, and bumped into the No. 1 doubles position beginning against Plattsburgh State.
 
MacKenzie Gisler, Farmingdale State

Gisler (above) won all three of her No. 2 doubles matches during the Rams' 3-0 northern weekend (Russell Sage, Plattsburgh, Castleton), while also collecting three singles victories in the middle of the Farmingdale State lineup, moving to 5-1 on the season in both disciplines … In singles play, Gisler earned straight-set victories at No. 4 against Russell Sage and Plattsburgh, before bumping into the No. 3 position against Castleton and gutting out a 14-12 victory in a third-set, super-tiebreaker against her Spartans opponent.

Doyle (above) won all four of her matches for the Valiants as the team went 1-1 on the week ... After partnering with Addison-Mercedes Ortiz for an 8-6 in No. 2 Doubles against Ramapo, defeated the Roadrunners' Kassie Britt 6-3, 6-0 in No. 3 Singles play … She opened the week against Lehman with another win in No. 2 Doubles with Ortiz, 8-0 and was victorious in No. 3 Singles against Shelby Gonzalez, 6-1, 6-0.

Manhattanville freshman Addison-Mercedes Ortiz went 4-0 across a pair of matches … Purchase senior Elaina Coppola, playing three matches in three days, went undefeated, 3-0, at No. 4 singles and 1-2 at No. 1 doubles to lead the Panthers in a 2-1 week; in singles, Coppola earned a 6-1, 6-0 win against York (Sept. 19), a 6-1, 4-6, 10-5 win against West Conn (Sept. 20), and a 6-1, 6-2 victory over John Jay (Sept. 21) … St. Joseph's-Long Island sophomore Natalie Kopala earned 7-5, 6-1 wins to claim first singles in the conference-opening win over Sarah Lawrence … Sarah Lawrence freshman Neomi Spellman took home two shutout victories in the match against Baruch; she won both singles and doubles, 8-0 … St. Joseph's-Long Island freshman Madi Beatty recorded wins in both of her flights in a 7-2 win over Sarah Lawrence; she notched a 6-1, 6-4 win at No. 6 singles after earning an 8-5 win in No. 2 doubles
