FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | The second-seeded Manhattanville University women's tennis team captured the 2025 Skyline Conference Championship with a 4–2 victory over top-seeded Farmingdale State College on Saturday afternoon in Farmingdale, N.Y. The Valiants earned the league's automatic berth to the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championship.
Freshman Jenifer Lalman was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Championship following a pivotal win in both doubles and singles play.
Doubles
Manhattanville took a 1-0 lead after doubles action, securing victories at the top two flights.

At No. 1 doubles, the tandem of Amaya Ortiz and Lalman earned a 6–2 win over Natalia Furchel and Kaelin Burnett.

The No. 2 pairing of Adrianna Filippelli and Addison Ortiz edged Martine McGowan and Gabriella Loria in a tightly contested 7–6 (5) match.

Farmingdale State kept pace as MacKenzie Gisler and Mikayla DeMaria earned a 7–5 decision at No. 3 doubles over Maria Gutierrez and Bianca Reyna.

Farmingdale State collected wins in the final two positions, as Loria earned a 6–3, 6–0 decision at No. 5 singles, and DeMaria completed a 6–0, 7–5 result at No. 6.
The No. 2 singles match between Ortiz (MVL) and McGowan (FSC) went unfinished in the third set with the championship already decided.
