NEW YORK – The Skyline Conference has announced its 2026 Women's Tennis All-Conference Team and major award winners, highlighted by Mount Saint Mary junior Sydney Sladicka, who was selected as the Skyline Player of the Year.

Sladicka turned in an outstanding season at the top of the Knights' lineup, compiling a perfect 10-0 record at No. 1 singles. The Marlboro, N.Y., native also excelled in doubles competition, posting a 7-3 record at No. 1 doubles. Her undefeated singles campaign and consistent performance against top competition established her as one of the conference's premier players throughout the season.

Purchase freshman Bianka Grzesik was named the Rookie of the Year following an impressive debut campaign for the Panthers. The Warwick, N.Y., native compiled a 9-1 overall singles record, including a 4-1 mark in Skyline competition, with conference victories over Farmingdale State, Sarah Lawrence, Mount Saint Mary and St. Joseph's-Long Island. Grzesik was equally effective in doubles play, finishing 8-2 overall and 4-1 against Skyline opponents, earning victories against the same four conference programs. Her strong performances in both singles and doubles made her an immediate contributor to the Purchase lineup.

Farmingdale State head coach Adam Waterhouse earned Coach of the Year honors after guiding the Rams through a successful 2026 campaign. Farmingdale State finished 6-1 in Skyline play and will enter this week's championship as the second seed.
