Williams (above) finished the week with 18 kills, 3.00 kills per set, with a team-best six aces and three assists ... The junior totaled 10 digs and a block ... In a 3-2 win over Ramapo, Williams finished with a team-high 15 kills and six aces to go along with eight digs and three assists on his way to his second Skyline Player of the Week award this season.

Libero of the Week

Ruais (above) finished the week with 11 digs and was a perfect 33-for-33 in service receptions ... He added five assists and a kill ... In a five-set win over Ramapo, he finished with seven digs, 25 receptions and four assists on his way to his second Skyline Libero of the Week honor this spring.

Rookie of the Week

Amaru Perales, New Jersey City University
Freshman, MB; Harrison, N.J./Harrison

The freshman played and started in all three matches (all nine sets) as NJCU went 3-0 … Perales (below) finished with team highs in kills (34, 3.78/set) and points (36.5, 4.06/set) over a trio of Skyline sweeps and hit very efficiently with just seven errors over 59 swings (.458 hitting percentage) … He began with a match-best nine kills and just one error on 17 swings (.417) to go with a couple of blocks in the home 3-0 win over Yeshiva … Then, in a 3-0 win at Purchase, Perales once again had a match-best 11 kills with four errors on 20 swings (.350) to go with a couple of digs against the Panthers … Finally, he notched a career- and match-high 14 kills and just two errors on 22 swings (.545) to go with two more blocks in the sweep of St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn.

Honor Roll

St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn junior outside hitter Alex Helfant logged his fourth double-double in five matches, and sixth on the year, behind a 24-kill, 20-dig showing in the Bears' five-set triumph over Purchase … Ramapo sophomore setter JoJo Meyer posted a career high 49 assists in a tough five-set loss to St. Joseph's-Long Island, where they Roadrunners fell 3-2 and suffered their first loss in Skyline action … St. Joseph’s-Long Island freshman outside hitter Luke MacPherson finished the week with 12 kills, a pair of service aces, 12 digs and four blocks … Ramapo senior libero Simon Moeller helped lead the Roadrunners on defense as they went 2-1 overall, including a five-set thriller with St. Joseph’s-Long Island … Sarah Lawrence senior outside hitter Felix Massey led the Gryphons in their tri-match against the conference's top teams, including an impressive nine-kill and six-dig performance against Ramapo to start the day.
