Pretnar (above) went 2-0 in the Valiants' lone action of the week against Farmingdale State, earning her second player of the week honor this fall … She partnered with Keto Karkashadze for an 8-2 win in No. 1 singles, and was also victorious in the top singles flight, 6-1, 6-4.

Ortiz (above) notched a 7-6 (8-6), 6-4 win in No. 2 Singles play against Farmingdale State on her way to her first rookie of the week honor this season.

Honor Roll

Farmingdale State sophomore MacKenzie Gisler had another strong week as her efforts in the Rams’ 5-4 Skyline victory over visiting Manhattanville helped move the FSC’s winning streak to four matches, as well as moving individually to 6-1 in both singles and doubles action this fall … St. Joseph’s-Long Island sophomore Natalie Kopala battled to a victory No. 1 singles (6-4, 4-6, 10-4) against John Jay and notched an 8-4 win in No. 1 doubles, too.
