Catalan (above) played in two sets in a loss to No. 9 Rutgers-Newark before starting his first match of his career over the weekend at home against Wisconsin Lutheran, where the Roadrunners won, 3-0 … He tallied 12 digs and two assists, and posted a perfect passing percentage while on the court on 12 attempts.

MacPherson (below) finished with 17 kills, 80 service receptions, 22 digs, three assists, and a pair of service aces in the first week of his college career … He recorded 10 kills and a team-best 14 digs with a match-high 38 service receptions in his first collegiate match against No. 9 St. John Fisher … The newcomers added three kills, three digs and 21 receptions against No. 4 Stevens before recording four kills, five digs and 21 receptions against No. 2 Springfield.
