Heyder was a force during a 4-0 week for the Rams, posting a staggering 1.286 slugging percentage. Over 14 at-bats, he hit .571 (8-for-14) with four doubles and two home runs, accounting for nine RBI and eight runs scored. He reached base at a .647 clip and was perfect in the field with 12 putouts.

Pitcher of the Week

Derek Watts, Farmingdale State

Watts logged 10.0 innings over four separate appearances, having a hand in all four of Farmingdale’s wins. The senior surrendered just one hit all week, holding opposing batters to a minuscule .036 batting average. Watts finished the week with a 1.80 ERA and six strikeouts.

Akalski was a model of offensive efficiency during a 2-2 week for the Dolphins. The freshman backstop batted a blistering .750 (6-for-8) with a double, four RBI, and two runs scored. He posted a massive .818 on-base percentage by reaching base safely in nearly every appearance.
