Player of the Week

Paul McNally, St. Joseph’s - Long Island
Sophomore, Pitcher/DH; Melville, N.Y./Walt Whitman


McNally delivered a dominant two-way performance, leading the Golden Eagles to a 2-1 week. At the plate, the sophomore hit .800 (8-for-10) with a .846 on-base percentage and 1.300 slugging percentage, totaling five runs, nine RBIs, one triple and one home run. He posted two three-hit games, including a 3-for-3, five-RBI effort against NJCU and a 3-for-3 performance with four runs, a triple, and a home run versus Manhattanville. On the mound, McNally earned the win with 5.0 scoreless innings, allowing just two hits with three strikeouts.

Pitcher of the Week

Ryan Morash, Maritime
Freshman, Pitcher; Merrick, N.Y./Calhoun


Morash turned in a standout week on the hill, highlighted by a nine-inning complete game shutout against St. Joseph’s Brooklyn. The freshman struck out a career-high 10 batters while allowing just five hits and one walk in the 8-0 victory. He added another outing earlier in the week and finished with 12.0 innings, 11 strikeouts, and a 1.50 ERA.

Rookie of the Week

Michael Pagano, Purchase
Freshman, Infield/DH; Franklin Square, N.Y./Valley Stream North


Pagano paced the Panthers’ offense with a standout week, batting .556 (10-for-18) with a .944 on-base percentage. The freshman totaled four runs, six RBIs, two home runs and a double across seven games, adding a stolen base. He recorded multiple hits in four contests, including a 5-for-5 performance with two home runs and four RBIs in a win over Old Westbury.

Honorable Mention
Alex Bardi, Maritime - Hit .500 (7-for-14) across three wins, totaling nine RBI and six runs scored. The senior recorded a program-tying seven RBI game, finishing just a triple shy of the cycle while adding multiple extra-base hits during the week
Ritchie Heyder, Farmingdale St. - Batted .667 (10-for-15) with a .933 on-base percentage, scoring eight runs with four doubles and two RBI in a 4-1 week. The preseason All-American reached base safely in 15 of 20 plate appearances and recorded multi-hit efforts in four games
Michael Pisseri, Mount Saint Mary - Fired 7.2 scoreless innings in a conference win over Purchase, allowing just six hits and one walk while striking out three. The junior continued his strong Skyline play, lowering his conference ERA to 0.68 across two starts.
