Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week

Luke Zwiesler, Merchant Marine
Senior; Colbert, Wash. / Mount Spokane 

Zwiesler secured two individual victories at the Wilton Wright Invitational, helping the Mariners finish fourth overall in an 11-team field. He placed first in the 1,500-meter run with a personal-best time of 3:59.82 and captured another first-place finish in the 800-meter run with a career-best time of 1:56.90. His performances led USMMA to a top finish among all Skyline Conference competitors at the meet.

Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week

Adonias Mercado, Farmingdale State
Junior; Hillsdale, N.J. / Pascack Valley 

Mercado delivered a dominant performance at the MSMC Knight Invite, winning two events. He recorded a personal-record toss of 50.15m (164' 6") in the discus, which ranks as the 15th-best mark nationally in NCAA Division III and moves him to No. 4 on the school's all-time list. He also captured first place in the shot put with a mark of 15.75m.

Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Rookie of the Week

Christian Destine, Farmingdale State
Freshman; Rosedale, N.Y. / WT Clarke

Destine earned a second-place finish in the triple jump at the Wilton Wright Invitational. His mark of 13.70m (44' 11.5") was the top performance by a freshman in the field and ranks among the leading distances in the Skyline Conference this season.

Honorable Mention

Shai Graham, Manhattanville - Set two program records at the Will Wright Outdoor Invitational, clocking an 11.01 in the 100-meter (7th place) and a school-record 22.54 in the 200-meter (13th place)
Ben Rini, Merchant Marine - Recorded a personal-best mark of 14.69m to finish sixth in the shot put. He also placed eighth in the javelin (42.43m) and added a personal-best in the discus (39.51m)
Khalil Williams, Manhattanville - Posted the sixth-best long jump in program history with a mark of 5.78m. He also added top-ten school marks in the 400m hurdles (1:00.21) and the 400m dash (53.12)
