Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week

Luke Zwiesler, Merchant Marine 

Zwiesler led the Mariners at the Ramapo Season Opener with a standout distance performance, winning the 5,000-meter run in 15:29.60. The senior added a third-place finish in the 800-meter (1:57.20), showcasing his versatility and pacing a strong opening weekend for USMMA.

Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week

Garrett Rees, Merchant Marine 

Rees turned in a strong showing in the throws at the Ramapo Invite, placing second overall (first among Division III competitors) in the discus with a mark of 42.37 meters (139’0”). The sophomore added a second discus throw of 40.92 meters (134’3”), finishing ninth overall in the event.

Zach Garrant, Manhattanville - Garrant posted the third-fastest 5,000-meter time in program history, clocking in at 16:33.18 to place 22nd overall at the Ramapo Season Opener.
Khalil Williams, Manhattanville - Williams recorded a mark of 5.79 meters in the long jump, ranking sixth in program history, while placing 18th overall at the Ramapo Invite.
