NEW YORK | A rematch of last year’s Skyline Championship final headlines the 2025 Skyline Conference women’s tennis preseason outlook, as Farmingdale State College, defending champion, and Manhattanville University, 2024 runner-up, have tied for the top spot in this year’s Coaches’ Poll.
Farmingdale State collected 46 points and four first-place votes, while Manhattanville matched that total with 46 points and four first-place tallies, leaving the two programs deadlocked atop the rankings.
Purchase checked in third with 36 points, followed by Yeshiva (31 points) in fourth after a strong 2024 campaign. St. Joseph’s-Long Island (24 points), Mount Saint Mary (18 points), Sarah Lawrence (14 points), and Mount Saint Vincent (9 points) rounded out the poll.
The 2025 Skyline Conference Women’s Tennis Championship is set to begin with the semifinal round on Wednesday, October 22. The championship final is scheduled for Saturday, October 25, with the winner earning the league’s automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Women’s Tennis Championship.
