The Bearcats (13-3) advance to Friday's second round, where it will face ninth-ranked host Bowdoin College.

Baruch secured the doubles point by winning two out of three flights, with Farmingdale State's sophomore tandem of Kwaku Agyeman and Ty Williams ahead 5-4 when their third-flight match versus Jordan Hernandez and George Arteaga was halted.

FSC freshman Michael Lerman swept through his No. 6 singles match against the Bearcats' Giovanni De Santis by identical 6-0 scores, while Williams secured a 6-1, 6-1 decision in the fifth flight over Steven Margolis.
