In a 5-4 win over Ramapo, he teamed with Jaime Peredo in an 8-2 victory at No. 3 doubles before collecting a third-singles victory, 3-6, 7-5, 10-5 ... He also teamed with Peredo against Farmingdale for an 8-3 No. 3 doubles win and notched a key 6-2, 6-3 victory at No. 4 singles against the Rams … In the process, the Valiants remained unbeaten in Skyline play with another 5-4 match win.

Hendel (above) registered a 3-0 mark (2-0 Skyline) at No. 1 doubles with Mark Baker, as well as a 2-1 mark (1-1 Skyline) in the top-three singles flights en route to back-to-back Skyline Rookie of the Week awards … He swept Mount Saint Mary's J.T. Maccarrone in the No. 2 singles match, 6-0 and 6-0, while his doubles performances with Baker included an 8-0 win versus the Knights' Maccarrone and Matthew Ropiak, as well as an 8-6 triumph at defending champion Manhattanville (vs. James Hourihan, Weston Goodwin).

Ryan Freeley earned the Golden Eagles’ lone win of the match against USMMA, taking a 6-1, 6-3 final in first singles; he also picked up a doubles match victory over John Jay (8-3), while also earning a win at first singles in that non-conference match (8-6) … Purchase freshman
Yuta Kawamura capped doubles play against Lehman (W 7-2) with an 8-0 shutout victory at the No. 3 spot; he then went on to record the first singles win following a 6-0, 6-1 decision at the third flight, and later contributed to the Panthers’ 9-0 sweep over St. Joseph’s-Long Island with an 8-2 win at No. 3 doubles and a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 3 singles … U.S. Merchant Marine Academy freshman
