Mount Saint Mary, Yeshiva to Meet in Women's Tennis Championship Final

NEW YORK| The 2017 Skyline Conference Women's Tennis Championship got underway Wednesday night with semifinals action, with third-seeded Mount Saint Mary College and top-seeded Yeshiva University capturing their respective matches to advance to Sunday's championship final.

The Knights toppled second-seeded St. Joseph's College-Long Island by a 5-4 score, in a match that lasted over four hours.

Meanwhile, YU bested fourth-seed Purchase College, SUNY, 5-1, and will play host to MSMC Sunday at 3:30 p.m., from the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y. Sunday's winner will receive the Skyline's automatic bid to next spring's 2018 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championship.
