The junior recorded four goals and three assists in a win over Maritime before erupting for a season-high nine goals and two assists against Old Westbury. She added eight draw controls, two ground balls, and one caused turnover

Giavanna Stamatelo, Farmingdale State

Stamatelo recorded a strong week in goal, posting a .595 save percentage and 7.50 goals-against average across two Skyline contests. The junior made 22 total saves, including 10 in a conference-opening win over Manhattanville and 12 against defending champion Merchant Marine, marking her sixth straight double-digit save performance.

Rookie of the Week

Sarah Litz, Merchant Marine
Freshman, Attack; Westminster, Md./Mount De Sales Academy

Litz made an immediate impact in conference play, scoring four goals in a key road victory over Farmingdale State. The rookie netted back-to-back goals early in the fourth quarter to help extend the Mariners’ lead, while also adding one caused turnover and one ground ball in the win.
