Player of the Week

Emma Foster, Manhattanville
Sophomore, Outfield; Santa Barbara, Calif./San Marcos

Foster paced the Valiants' offense during the opening week of the season, batting .417 with 15 hits across eight games. The sophomore outfielder scored seven runs and drove in six, while collecting three extra-base hits (two doubles and a triple) and adding three stolen bases as Manhattanville competed at the Margie Knight Classic.

Pitcher of the Week

Jori Wilkendorf, Manhattanville
Junior, Pitcher; Livermore, Calif./Livermore

Wilkendorf was outstanding in the circle to open the season, posting a 1.58 ERA over 31.0 innings while going 3-2 across six appearances. The junior allowed opponents to hit just .246 and delivered multiple strong outings during Manhattanville's tournament slate, including five shutout innings against King's and seven innings of one-run ball against Lynchburg.

Rookie of the Week

Bryce Kane, Purchase
Freshman, Pitcher; Westborough, MA/Westborough

Kane turned in a dominant collegiate debut, tossing a five-inning no-hitter with 12 strikeouts in Purchase's 14-0 victory over Yeshiva. The freshman also contributed offensively, going 2-for-2 with a triple, RBI, run scored, and a walk, helping lead the Panthers to the conference sweep.

Carmen Henderson, Mount Saint Vincent - Began her collegiate career with a strong two-game showing, going 5-for-7 at the plate with a run scored, RBI, and a stolen base in the Dolphins' Myrtle Beach opener
Breanna Ochoa, Manhattanville - Hit .269 during her first week of collegiate play, recording seven hits, five runs scored, and two stolen bases while contributing regularly to the Valiants' lineup
Tyler Salerno, Purchase - Was perfect at the plate in a Skyline doubleheader sweep of Yeshiva, going 3-for-3 with a triple, five RBI, three runs scored, three walks, and three stolen bases for the Panthers
