Yeshiva and Farmingdale Set for Another Finals Clash

NEW YORK | The 2026 Skyline Conference Men’s Basketball Championship matchup is set, for the third straight year, top-seeded Yeshiva (19-8, 16-0 Skyline) and second-seeded Farmingdale State (24-3, 15-1 Skyline) earned semifinal victories on Friday.

No. 2 Farmingdale State 82, No. 3 Sarah Lawrence 75
Farmingdale State built a 41-25 halftime lead and held off a second-half surge from Sarah Lawrence to advance with an 82-75 win at Nold Hall.

Sean Conroy led the Rams with 22 points on 8-of-13 shooting, adding eight rebounds and four assists. Michael Notias and Robbie Siechen each scored 13 points, with Siechen hitting 3-of-5 from three-point range. Liam Buckley added 10 points and seven rebounds.

Farmingdale shot 50 percent from three-point range (9-of-18) and 82.1 percent from the free-throw line (23-of-28), while holding a 42-38 rebounding edge.

Sarah Lawrence was paced by Andrew Kim, who scored 22 points and knocked down four three-pointers. Thomas Matonti added 13 points off the bench, and Eamon Kelly contributed 12 points. The Gryphons connected on 15 three-pointers but shot 34.3 percent overall.

At the Max Stern Athletic Center, Yeshiva used a dominant second half (55 points) to pull away for an 86-71 victory over Purchase.

The Maccabees shot 66.7 percent from the field in the second half and finished at 54 percent overall.

Zevi Samet led Yeshiva with 20 points and nine rebounds. Yoav Oselka scored 18 points on 8-of-10 shooting and grabbed nine boards, while Max Zakheim posted 14 points and 11 rebounds. Dothan Bardichev added 12 points off the bench.

Purchase was led by Trey Skeete, who scored 24 points on 7-of-13 shooting. Nate Maldonado added 16 points, and Chris Hunter chipped in 15. The Panthers scored 34 points in the paint but were outshot 54.0 percent to 40.3 percent overall.

Yeshiva enters the championship game unbeaten in Skyline play (16-0), while Farmingdale State carries a 24-3 overall record into the final. The Maccabees came away victorious in the regular season match up, 84-60. Tipoff is set for Sunday, March 1 at 2:00 pm at the Max Stern Athletic Center.
