MBWA RELEASE
NEW YORK | Seven Skyline Conference men’s basketball standouts were recognized for their exceptional performances during the 2025-26 season, earning All-Met Division III honors as announced by the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association.
Highlighting the group, Yeshiva University’s Zevi Samet earned First Team All-Met honors and was named the Metropolitan Player of the Year after delivering one of the most dominant offensive seasons in the conference. Samet led the Skyline with 23.8 points per game and 737 total points across 31 contests, while also pacing the league with 108 three-pointers made and shooting over 40 percent from beyond the arc. Joining him on the First Team was Farmingdale State’s Michael Notias, who averaged 14.9 points per game while shooting .443 from the field. A steady playmaker, Notias also dished out 4.6 assists per game and ranked among the conference leaders in assist-to-turnover ratio.
Sean Conroy of Farmingdale State earned Second Team honors following a strong season in which he averaged 14.6 points per game and established himself as one of the Skyline’s top perimeter threats, knocking down 70 three-pointers while shooting 38.3 percent from long range.
On the Third Team, Maritime’s Jake Devaney averaged 18.0 points per game, ranking among the conference’s top scorers, while also contributing 1.5 blocks per game to anchor the Privateers defensively. Yeshiva’s Yoav Oselka added an efficient inside presence for the Skyline champions, averaging 14.8 points per game while shooting .576 from the field, one of the top marks in the conference.
Rounding out the Skyline honorees, St. Joseph’s-Long Island’s Kenny Rodriguez and Maritime’s Zion Williams were named Honorable Mention selections. Rodriguez averaged 16.6 points per game while shooting .405 from three-point range, finishing with 53 made triples on the year.
