NEW YORK | The 2026 Skyline Conference Men’s Basketball semifinals are set following four quarterfinal contests on Wednesday.
No. 1 Yeshiva 91, No. 8 Old Westbury 52
At the Max Stern Athletic Center, Yeshiva built a 39-21 halftime lead and never allowed Old Westbury to get closer in the second half. The Maccabees shot over 50 percent from the field and forced 12 turnovers. Zevi Samet led all scorers with 27 points, adding five rebounds, while Yoav Oselka recorded 18 points and seven rebounds.
No. 5 Purchase 89, No. 4 Maritime 65
Purchase used a 48-33 first half to create separation and extended the lead to as many as 28 in the second half. The Panthers shot 50 percent from the floor and knocked down 13 three-pointers. Maurice Western scored 23 points on 10-of-17 shooting, Desmond Ward added 19 points and three assists, and Trey Skeete finished with 18 points and nine rebounds.
No. 2 Farmingdale State 83, No. 7 St. Joseph’s (L.I.) 62
Farmingdale State broke open a 47-27 halftime lead with the first 10 points of the second half. The Rams maintained momentum, holding a 20-point lead throughout the final frame. Sean Conroy reached the 1,000-career point mark and finished with 18 points and six assists. Liam Buckley posted 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Michael Notias added 11 points. Farmingdale shot 41 percent and held St. Joseph’s to 39 percent.
No. 3 Sarah Lawrence 71, No. 6 Manhattanville 60
At Campbell Sports Center, Sarah Lawrence took a four-point lead into the second half and held the lead for the remainder. Gabe Downes scored 13 points and hauled in eight rebounds, Chris Dougherty posted 11 points, 15 rebounds, and five blocks, Eamon Kelly contributed 11 points and four assists, and Thomas Matonti scored 11 points in the semifinal-clinching victory. Sarah Lawrence shot 38.1 percent from the field and out-rebounded Manhattanville 52-35.
