CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL
NEW YORK | The eight-team field for the 2025-26 Skyline Conference Men's Basketball Championship is now set.
Quarterfinal play gets underway on campus sites Wednesday evening, when top-seeded and defending champion Yeshiva University will welcome No. 8 SUNY Old Westbury to the Max Stern Athletic Center at 8:00 pm.
The winner of that contest will advance to Friday's semifinals round, where it will take on the victor of Wednesday's 7 p.m. tilt between fifth-seeded Purchase College and fourth-seeded Maritime, which will play host to the 7 p.m. quarterfinal matchup in Throggs Neck, N.Y.
On the other side of the bracket, Sarah Lawrence College is the No. 3 seed in the championship and will kick off tourney play at the Campbell Athletic Center in Bronxville, when it plays host to a 7 p.m. quarterfinal on Wednesday against No. 6 Manhattanville University.
The winner of the Gryphons/Valiants tilt will advance to Friday action, where they will face the winning side from Wednesday's 7:30 p.m. contest at Nold Hall in Farmingdale, N.Y., between second-seeded Farmingdale State, and No. 7 St. Joseph’s-Long Island.
The championship final will take place on Sunday, March 1 at the highest-remaining seed, with the winner earning the Skyline's automatic bid to the following week's 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship.
Last year, third-seeded Yeshiva and Most Outstanding Player Zevi Samet upset top-seeded Farmingdale St. in the 2025 championship.
Tickets for the semifinals and championship rounds will go on sale shortly. Stay tuned to SkylineConference.org for more information.
