NEW YORK | The United States Merchant Marine Academy has been selected as the favorite in the 2026-27 Skyline Conference Men's Swimming & Diving Preseason Coaches' Poll, earning the top spot with 16 points and four first-place votes.

The Mariners enter the new season looking to continue their championship success in the Skyline Conference after establishing themselves as the league's dominant program in recent years.

Maritime was selected second with 13 points and the remaining first-place vote, positioning the Privateers as a leading challenger to Merchant Marine heading into the upcoming campaign.

Mount Saint Mary followed in third with 10 points, while St. Joseph's-Long Island checked in fourth with seven points. Sarah Lawrence rounded out the five-team preseason poll with four points.

The 2026-27 Skyline Conference Men's Swimming & Diving Championship is scheduled for January 23-24, 2027, at SUNY Purchase in Purchase, N.Y.
