Hayes powered the Privateers to a tri-meet sweep of Lehman and York, highlighted by a commanding victory in the 50 freestyle with a time of 22.19 seconds, more than a full second ahead of the field. Hayes added a 58.56 clocking in the 100 breaststroke and contributed the breaststroke leg on Maritime’s winning 200 medley relay.

Freshman; Staten Island, N.Y./St. Joseph by the Sea
Walz swept the diving events in Maritime's tri-meet with Lehman and York. The freshman scored 197.33 points on the 1-meter board. While competing on the 3-meter board for the first time as a Privateer, he finished with 187.80 points.
