Puentes powered the Dolphins to a 2-0 week, recording four goals and an assist. The junior forward notched a hat trick in a midweek victory over CCNY before adding a goal and an assist in a Skyline-opening win against Maritime.

Defensive Player of the Week

Jayme Santasiero, USMMA
Sophomore, Defender; Houston, Texas/Cypress Creek

Santasiero anchored the Mariners’ back line in a 2-0 Skyline week, starting both matches and logging 164 minutes of action. The sophomore defender helped USMMA post consecutive shutouts against St. Joseph’s Long Island and Purchase, limiting opponents to just seven total shots on goal across the two victories.

Rookie of the Week

Kennedy Crovo - USMMA
Freshman, Forward; Lexington, KY/Lafayette

Crovo delivered the first multi-goal outing of her collegiate career to help the Mariners to a 2-0 Skyline week. The freshman forward scored twice in a span of just one minute during USMMA’s 4-0 victory over Purchase, netting the eventual game-winner in the 18th minute and adding another moments later. She also logged a full 90 minutes in the team’s 1-0 win at St. Joseph’s Long Island.

Honorable Mention
Morgan Mitchell, USMMA - Mitchell netted two game-winning goals in Skyline victories over St. Joseph’s Long Island and Purchase, scoring in the 86th minute of a 1-0 road win against the Golden Eagles before striking again in a 4-0 triumph over the Panthers.
Kristen Gallagher, Old Westbury - Gallagher totaled 20 saves across two matches for the Panthers, including 17 stops against Mount Saint Mary, while also backstopping a 2-1 victory over Lehman. She currently ranks among the Skyline leaders in saves and shutouts.
Evie Dowd,  Mount Saint Mary - Dowd made the most of her minutes off the bench, tallying a goal against Rutgers-Newark and adding an assist in the Knights’ 3-0 Skyline win at Old Westbury
