Farmingdale State Selected as 2025 Skyline Women’s Soccer Preseason Favorite

NEW YORK | After capturing the 2024 Skyline Conference Championship, Farmingdale State College will begin its title defense as the favorite to repeat in 2025, according to the Skyline Conference Women’s Soccer Preseason Coaches’ Poll.

The Rams collected seven first-place votes and a total of 110 points to narrowly claim the top spot in the poll. Mount Saint Vincent, last year’s runner-up, finished just one point behind with 109 points and received three first-place votes.

USMMA landed in third with 102 points, while St. Joseph’s-Long Island (90 points, one first-place vote) and Sarah Lawrence (83 points, one first-place vote) rounded out the top five.

Manhattanville (70 points) and Mount Saint Mary (68) placed sixth and seventh, respectively. Maritime and Purchase tied for eighth with 44 points each, followed by Old Westbury (40), St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn (21), and Yeshiva (11).

The 2025 Skyline Conference Women’s Soccer Championship will begin with quarterfinal action on Saturday, November 1, followed by the semifinal round on Wednesday, November 5. The championship final is scheduled for Saturday, November 8 at the site of the highest remaining seed, with the winner earning the league’s automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Championship.
