Monti (above) collected three first-place finishes against Brooklyn College … The sophomore took first in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of (12:07.28) and the 200-yard individual medley with a time of (2:27.97) before securing another first in the 100-yard butterfly at (1:07.03) for the Golden Eagles.  

Rookie of the Week

Sarah Zellner, Mount Saint Mary

With several swimmers sidelined for MSMC, Zellner (below) came through and scored in all three of her events against William Paterson.

Honor Roll

Mount Saint Mary junior Cayla Nicholas had two first-place swims in 50/100 Freestyle; recording a season-best 58.1 in the 100 Freestyle to go along with a second-place in 100 Breast for another season-best time ... Maritime senior Lauren Barriteau helped lead the team's comeback win in the season-opening dual meet against Lehman by taking first in the second-to-last event, the 100 Breaststroke as she notched a time of 1:20.93 to pull the Privateers within four points, which they made up on the final relay to claim a 69-66 victory; she also swam the butterfly leg on the victorious 200-yard medley relay team and finished second in the 100-yard butterfly (1:13.43).
