MacHugh (above) six first-place finishes on the week to take the honor ... Against Bard, she earned herself three first-place finishes, notching wins in the 200-yard freestyle (2:15.99), the 200-yard individual medley (2:32.67) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:17.86) ... She followed that up with a Senior Day quad-meet win in the 200-yard individual medley (2:26.82), 100-yard butterfly (1:10.21) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:15.52). 

Rookie of the Week

Amelie Burg, Sarah Lawrence
Freshman,Ventura, California/Royal 

Burg (below) earned three victories, with an impressive win in the 100-yard freestyle and two relay-winning performances to help the Gryphons to a comfortable Skyline win against St. Joseph's-Long Island ... The California product got the Gryphons ahead early in the meet, swimming the third leg of SLC's winning 200 Medley Relay ... Burg then defeated teammate Josie Laur and a pair of Golden Eagles for a win in the 100 Freestyle before rounding out the meet by swimming the leadoff in SLC's winning 200-yard freestyle relay team. 

Honor Roll

Sarah Lawrence senior Josie Laur anchored the winning 200 Medley Relay in a Skyline dual meet for the Gryphons on the week; she continued her winning ways in her individual swims, taking home first place in the 50 Freestyle and finishing just over a second behind teammate Amelie Burg in the 100 Freestyle, earning herself a second-place finish … Mount Saint Mary freshman Kate Cerven swam lifetime bests in the 100 Freestyle and the 100 Butterfly and was part of a winning 200-yard freestyle relay for the Knights on the week.
