Granados (above) manned the net for the Valiants' pair of opening-week matches, allowing one goal with four saves across 180 minutes of action ... He held the No. 3-ranked Stevens attack scoreless in Manhattanville’s opener, making three saves in a 0-0 draw against the Ducks ... He also led the Valiants to another draw, allowing one goal and making a save against Kean in a 1-1 final that closed the week.
 
Rookie of the Week

Monroy (below), a central midfielder, provided one assist in 90-minute effort in his collegiate debut – a 2-2 draw at Eastern Connecticut (a 12-game winner in 2022) … He then provided stability in the double pivot in the Rams’ clean sheet showing versus Lehman, cleaning up in front of an FSC backline that allowed just two shots on target.

Farmingdale State junior midfielder Anthony Bileddo, in a 1-0-1 week, scored two goals and played 175 minutes from his midfield position for the Rams; at EastConn, Bileddo tallied the game-tying goal on a free-kick with just 6:03 remaining to secure a 2-2 tie before wrapping the week against Lehman, where he played all 90 minutes and scored early in the second half as the Rams went on for a 3-0 victory … St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn junior forward Victor Naci, the reigning Skyline Conference Offensive Player of the Year, returned to his goal-scoring ways, netting his first goal of the season against John Jay … Sarah Lawrence sophomore forward Morris Monaco Collins scored the game-winning goal in the Gryphons' season-opening victory, taking a free kick from 35 yards out and perfectly placing it into the upper right corner to give SLC a 3-2 lead that would turn out to be the final score … Manhattanville senior forward Sebastian Testa served as the team's lone goal scorer in the opening weekend of action, burying a penalty kick in the final minute of regulation to earn a 1-1 draw against Kean … Farmingdale State junior defender Daniel Rivas tallied three assists in 169 minutes on the field; he played all 90 minutes at EastConn and recorded an assist on FSC's first goal, which tied the score at 1-1 at the time before capping the week assisting on FSC's first two goals en route to the 3-0 victory against Lehman … St. Joseph’s-Long Island freshman forward/midfielder Steven Gracia totaled four assists in a non-conference win over York … Old Westbury freshman keeper Andy Chacho turned away nine shots against NJCU in his first-ever collegiate game.
