Top-seeded Mount Saint Vincent extended its unbeaten campaign with a commanding 4–0 victory over Farmingdale State to advance to its first Skyline Championship final in program history.
The Dolphins exploded for four goals in the opening half to take full control. Trevor Pegg opened the scoring in the 27th minute, followed by tallies from Javier Trujillo (35th, 43rd) and William Sornin (43rd) as Mount Saint Vincent built a 4–0 advantage before halftime.
Trujillo led the offensive surge with two goals, while Marti Senyer, David Marquez, and Jacob Greiffenberger each provided assists. Goalkeepers Samuel Reine and Miguel Fierro combined for a six-save shutout as the Dolphins improved to 14-0-2 on the season.
Despite the result, Farmingdale State produced 19 total shots, forcing multiple key stops from the Dolphins’ back line. Rocco Dispinseri made one save in goal for the Rams.
(3) St. Joseph’s-Long Island 2, (2) U.S. Merchant Marine Academy 1 — Kings Point, N.Y.
Third-seeded St. Joseph’s-Long Island continued its postseason push with a 2–1 semifinal win over U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, avenging a regular-season loss to the Mariners and punching its ticket to the Skyline Championship final.
The Golden Eagles struck early when Jack Pulisic netted his 12th goal of the season in the sixth minute to give SJLI an immediate edge. Devin Seara extended the lead in the 30th minute off a setup from Liam Mehmel, giving the visitors a two-goal cushion at the break.
Merchant Marine pulled one back early in the second half through Robert Derwin, assisted by Patrick Novotny, but goalkeeper Dean Burchard anchored the Golden Eagles’ defense with seven saves to preserve the 2–1 victory.
The Mariners outshot St. Joseph’s 22–13 and held a 4–3 edge in corner kicks.
