Offensive Player of the Week

Coughlin (above) tied for the team high with six goals and two assists over the Mariners' two victories to start the season – at Arcadia (21-3 on 2/25) and home against archrival Coast Guard (5-3 on 3/4) … The senior found the back of the net four times and dished out two assists against the Knights and then led the Mariners with two tallies in their low-scoring home win over the Bears.

Defensive Player of the Week

Heverly (above) won her first two collegiate starts, making three saves against Arcadia before putting on a dazzling display of goaltending in a defensive battle against Coast Guard, allowing three goals (just one in the second half) while making 11 saves total (nine in the second half, six in the fourth quarter alone) to preserve the victory for the Mariners … She also collected eight ground balls and caused one turnover.

Rookie of the Week

Antonia Licardi, Mount Saint Mary 
Freshman, Attack; Pine Bush, N.Y./Pine Bush

Licardi (below) posted a hat trick in Mount Saint Mary's 13-6 road win at Keuka … In addition to three markers on the day, Licardi added a pair of draw controls in the win for the Knights … Her first Skyline Rookie of the Week award comes in the first week of reporting.

Honor Roll

Farmingdale State junior midfielder Megan Diamond tied for the game high with four points (3g, a), while leading all players with nine controlled draws to go with four ground balls in a triple-overtime affair against visiting Montclair State; she sent the game to extra time with a pair of unassisted tallies to overcome a two-goal deficit with 7:32 and 6:24 remaining in regulation, respectively … Mount Saint Vincent sophomore midfielder Alicia Rodriguez scored six goals with two assists, 10 draw controls, five caused turnovers and four ground balls in a loss to Ramapo … Mount Saint Mary senior attacker Victoria Ward led the Knights to their first win of the season with four points in a 13-6 road win at Keuka; she scored twice and assisted on two other goals for MSMC … Maritime senior midfielder Nicole Johnson had six points in the Privateers' season-opening win over Notre Dame (MD), notching a hat trick while also distributing three assists; she led the Privateers with five ground balls and added four draw controls and two caused turnovers in the victory … Mount Saint Mary sophomore goalie Liz Petrellese back stopped the Knights to victory at Keuka, turning aside nine shots to go along with a ground ball … Maritime senior goalkeeper Liz Pomaro made six saves and only allowed one goal in the team's victory at Notre Dame (MD) … Farmingdale State senior defender Celina Schenk caused a game- and career-high five turnovers in the Rams' triple-overtime contest against Montclair State … U.S. Merchant Marine Academy senior midfielder Jaqui Sheedy was a factor all over the field for the Mariners in their two victories, picking up a team-high 11 ground balls to go along with three caused turnovers, 10 draw controls and six points (two goals and four assists) over the two games.
