Williams (above) posted the Golden Eagles' first first-place finish in a tri-meet with Purchase and Mount Saint Mary, tying for first in the 50-yard freestyle (0:29.99) … She again secured first place in the 100-yard butterfly and the 100-yard backstroke with times of 1:05.33 and 1:09.22, respectively.
 
Annie Hood, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy  
Senior; Alexandria, Va./Mount Vernon
 
Hood (above) excelled at the ultra-competitive, three-day TCNJ Invitational as the Mariners came in third place at the meet with 581 team points, behind the host Lions (1,005 points) and Stevens (997) … She had the Mariners' lone first-place finish, as she touched first in the 100 backstroke in 1:00.67 … Hood also placed second in two events – the 100 butterfly (59.55) and the 100 freestyle (54.74), as both were season-best times by one second … Additionally, the senior was a member of three third-place relay teams.
 
Rookie of the Week

AvaGrace Monti, St. Joseph's-Long Island 
Freshman; Farmingville, N.Y./Sachem East

Monti (below) finished first in the 200-yard individual medley (2:23.57) and then added another first-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:12.92) against Purchase and Mount Saint Mary … She also posted a second-place in the 100-yard freestyle (0:59.93).

Mount Saint Mary sophomore Cayla Nicholas won the 50 and 100 freestyle events in a tri-meet with Purchase and St. Joseph's-Long Island; she was also a member of Winning 200 Medley Relay in the first meet following the Thanksgiving break … Maritime junior Lauren Barriteau won two events and finished second in another against John Jay; she took first in the 500 Freestyle (6:31.25) and 200 Butterfly (2:59.77), while placing second in the 200 Freestyle (2:20.77) … U.S. Merchant Marine Academy freshman Isabel Lunsford was part of two third-place relay teams for the Mariners at TCNJ Invitational … Mount Saint Mary freshman Meghan Wurster was a dual winner in the 1000 and 500 freestyle events.
