A frequent Honor Roll selection this winter, Allen (above) paced the Golden Eagles with 49 total points, averaging 24.5 points per game, while shooting at a .571 clip in a 2-0 week for his first Player of the Week honor … He finished with a team-best 18 rebounds, averaging nine boards per game, with four steals, two assists and a block ... Allen recorded his second-highest shooting percentage of the season, 58.8%, 26 points on 10-of-17 shooting with nine rebounds in a win over Mount Saint Mary ... Just two days later, Allen dropped in 23 points on 6-of-11 shooting with another nine rebounds against Purchase.

Zevi Samet, Yeshiva

Samet (below) had strong games against elite competition … At defending NESCAC Champion Wesleyan, he netted 25 points, shot 45.5% from 3-point range, brought down six boards and distributed four assists for his fifth Rookie of the Week award this season … In Yeshiva's victory over national powerhouse University of Mary Washington, he had a double-double with 30 points and 10 rebounds, while dishing out three assists … Samet shot 50% (7 of 14) from 3-point range.
