In the doubleheader sweep over Sarah Lawrence, went 5-for-5 with two triples, a home run, five runs scored, and seven RBI...in Game One, she was 3-for-3 with a home run, three runs, two RBI, and a stolen base. Followed that with a pair of triples (tying the school record for one game), with two runs scored and a career-best five RBI.

In her one outing of the week, Stanya tossed a complete game shutout in the 13-0 win over Sarah Lawrence...she allowed just two hits with no walks while striking out 12 batters - the eighth-highest total in school history.

Rookie of the Week

Earns Rookie of the Week honors for the second week in a row...on the mound, she posted a 3-0 record this past week, throwing 13 innings of 1-run ball...threw a complete game shutout on Friday against Hunter, allowing two hits in her five innings while striking out five...started both games of Saturday's sweep of Mount Saint Vincent, earning the victory in both...tossed four shutout innings in Game One, allowing three hits while striking out four...pitching another four innings in Game Two, she allowed just one run on one hit and striking out two...at he plate, she was 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI in the doubleheader against CMSV.

St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn’s Autumn Poppett tossed a six-inning, complete-game shutout against John Jay, scattering four hits and two walks, while striking out three...Jayleen Torres hit .692 this last week, helping the Valiants go 4-0 and has now recorded a base hit in six straight game and 12 of the last 13...Alexis Buchanan recorded three multi-hit games and drove in a run in all three of St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn’s games this week, batting .857 over the 3-0 stretch with a team-high seven RBI and six runs...Bridget Morris of Mount Saint Mary recorded a career-high 14 strikeouts against Western Connecticut...Olivia Verderosa went 3-0 in three appearances this past week for St. Joseph’s-Long Island, including a five-strikeout complete-game win at Purchase...Farmingdale’s Jenna Giliberti went 4-for-6 in a sweep of Sarah Lawrence...in Game One she had an inside the park home run, two RBI, and five runs scored, and a hit and three runs scored in the nightcap...St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn’s Sofia Logreco hit her second home run of the season with a grand slam and triple against Sarah Lawrence...Riley Lim-Ellis of Saint Joseph’s-Long Island was 7-for-10 on the week, including going 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored in an 8-3 win over Old Westbury...St. Joseph’s-Long Island’s Lindsay Ness went 6-for-6 with thee RBI, four runs, four doubles across both games of a doubleheader with Old Westbury.
