NEW YORK | The 11 Skyline Conference men's basketball coaches have cast their votes on the 2018-19 preseason poll, and defending champion Yeshiva University was selected as the narrow favorite over 2017-18 regular-season leader Farmingdale State College.

Yeshiva (18-11, 13-7 Skyline), who won the 2017-18 conference title, received six first-place votes and 95 voting points -- just two points ahead of FSC (18-8, 16-4), who received the remaining five first-place tallies.

Purchase College, SUNY, and SUNY Old Westbury tied for third place in the voting with 70 points apiece, while St. Joseph's College-Brooklyn (62) rounded out the top five.

The six-team Skyline Conference Men's Basketball Championship will take place on campus sites from Feb. 19-23.
