Farmingdale State Captures 2025-26 Skyline Conference Presidents' Cup

NEW YORK | Farmingdale State College has reclaimed the 2025-26 Skyline Conference Presidents' Cup, awarded annually to the institution with the highest competitive percentage rating based on regular-season and championship performance across Skyline-sponsored sports.

The Rams posted a conference-best Presidents' Cup rating of .8539, narrowly edging U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (.8504) for the top spot. Manhattanville University finished third with a rating of .7438, while St. Joseph's University, Long Island (.6871), and Maritime College (.5963) rounded out the top five.

The Presidents' Cup recognizes broad-based athletic success across the conference's championship sports. For sports that feature both regular-season and postseason competition, points are determined by averaging an institution's regular-season finish and conference championship finish. Sports that are decided solely by a conference championship award points based on championship placement. An institution's final rating is calculated by dividing total points earned by the total possible points available in the sports in which it competes.

Farmingdale State's success was fueled by strong performances throughout the academic year, highlighted by Skyline championships in golf, women's outdoor track and field, women's lacrosse, baseball and men's tennis, along with runner-up finishes in men's basketball and softball. The Rams also earned top-three finishes in numerous sports, helping them secure the conference's highest overall rating.

Merchant Marine remained in contention throughout the year behind conference championships in men's cross country, men's track and field, men's and women's swimming and diving, and women's basketball. Manhattanville's third-place finish was bolstered by conference titles in softball, women's tennis, and women's volleyball.
