Joey Goodman, Maritime
Sophomore, Outfield; Merrick, N.Y./Calhoun
Goodman delivered a strong offensive performance during Maritime’s four-game slate at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational, batting .294 with a .765 slugging percentage and .429 on-base percentage while driving in nine RBIs. The sophomore outfielder recorded four extra-base hits, including a two-run home run and a triple against Keystone, finishing that game 2-for-4 with four RBIs and two runs scored. Goodman also produced clutch moments during the week, including a game-tying RBI groundout in the ninth inning and a go-ahead RBI double in the 17th inning against RIT, while collecting at least one RBI in each of the four contests.
Pitcher of the Week
Ryan McCann, Manhattanville
Senior, Pitcher; Medford, N.Y./Longwood
McCann improved to 2–0 on the season with a dominant seven-inning complete game victory over Cairn. The senior allowed just one run on five hits, while striking out six and issuing one walk in the 14–1 win. Opponents hit just .200 against him in the outing. McCann also opened the season with a victory at Centenary on Feb. 28, striking out five batters over five innings, helping the Valiants start the year with two wins behind the senior right-hander.
Rookie of the Week
Andrew Amarando, St. Joseph’s-Long Island
Freshman, Outfield; Ronkonoma, N.Y./Connetquot
Amarando paced the Golden Eagles offensively with a .538 batting average (7-for-13) across the week, scoring six runs and driving in two RBIs while going a perfect 5-for-5 on stolen bases. The freshman outfielder posted multiple three-hit performances, including a 3-for-4 outing with four runs scored and two RBIs in a win over Bridgewater State, and added another 3-for-4 game against Houghton.

Chris Bartnik, Old Westbury - Launched two home runs and drove in six runs in a doubleheader sweep of Lehman
Joe Thatcher, St. Joseph’s (L.I.) - Collected six hits, six RBIs and four runs scored, including a home run and two doubles, while also recording 29 putouts and two assists defensively
Griffin White, Manhattanville - Went 2-for-4 with a double and a three-run home run in Manhattanville’s win over Cairn, finishing with three RBIs and two runs scored
