Offensive Player of the Week

Landon Locke, Merchant Marine
Sophomore, Attack; Midlothian, Va./Midlothian

Locke led the Mariners with 10 points (5g, 5a) across a 2-0 week, fueling victories over Coast Guard and St. Joseph’s–Long Island. The sophomore tallied two goals and three assists in Thursday’s win before adding three goals and two assists in Saturday’s dominant conference victory. He also contributed five ground balls.

Defensive Player of the Week

Sean Lawson, Farmingdale State
Junior, LSM; Mattituck, N.Y./Mattituck

Lawson anchored a dominant Rams defensive unit that allowed just four goals in each of two victories, finishing the week with eight caused turnovers and seven ground balls. The junior long-stick midfielder recorded four caused turnovers in each game, including a four-CT, four-ground ball effort against FDU-Florham.

Rookie of the Week

Ethan Vargas, Farmingdale State
Freshman, Attack; Bay Shore, N.Y./Bay Shore

Vargas posted a standout week with nine points (6g, 3a) across two victories for the Rams. The freshman recorded a hat trick in both games, including a three-goal, three-assist performance against Alfred State while adding four ground balls.

Honorable Mention

Joseph Corallo, Mount Saint Mary - Dominated at the faceoff X, going 29-for-43 (.674) on the week while collecting 21 ground balls and adding two goals. The freshman recorded a 19-for-26 performance with 13 ground balls against New Paltz and followed with a 10-for-17 outing versus Husson.
Luke Dombroski, Mount Saint Mary - Totaled 17 ground balls and six caused turnovers across two games while breaking the program’s all-time caused turnover record (now 99). The senior recorded 11 ground balls and four caused turnovers against Husson after a six ground ball, two-CT effort earlier in the week.
Joey Forchelli, Farmingdale St. - Registered a nine-point week (6g, 3a) in two Rams victories, including a six-point performance (3g, 3a) against FDU-Florham. The junior added a pair of caused turnovers and ground balls while continuing to lead Farmingdale’s offensive attack.
