2026 Men’s Lacrosse All-Conference Team Announced

NEW YORK | The Skyline Conference has announced its 2026 Men’s Lacrosse All-Conference Team and major award winners as voted on by conference coaches.

Maritime sophomore attack Nick Uzakewicz was named the Offensive Player of the Year after delivering one of the most dynamic seasons in the country. Uzakewicz led the Skyline with 86 points and 65 assists (4.33 per game) while averaging 5.73 points per contest, ranking among the top playmakers in Division III.

The Co-Defensive Players of the Year honors were awarded to Brody Smith of Maritime and Sean Lawson of Farmingdale State, two elite long-stick midfielders who consistently changed games in the middle of the field.

Smith was one of the conference’s top takeaway specialists, totaling 38 caused turnovers and 51 ground balls, while helping Maritime rank among the Skyline leaders in caused turnovers and transition scoring chances. 

Lawson anchored Farmingdale State’s defensive midfield unit and was among the Skyline’s top all-around specialists with 42 caused turnovers, 2.63 per game and 70 ground balls, 4.38 per game. 

Maritime first-year attack Thomas McCarvill was selected as the Rookie of the Year after an outstanding debut campaign. McCarvill totaled 44 goals, 3.14 per game, 47 points, averaging 2.61 points per game, while emerging as a reliable scoring option in one of the conference’s top offenses. 

Merchant Marine head coach Dan Paccione was named Coach of the Year after guiding the Mariners to one of the conference’s most balanced seasons. Merchant Marine led the Skyline in goals per game (15.47) and points per game (25.13) while also ranking second in faceoff percentage (.593) and among the top defensive teams in the conference.

First Team: Maritime placed four players on the First Team, led by Nick Uzakewicz, Ryan Hannaford, Michael Wiegand, and Brody Smith. Farmingdale State also earned strong representation with Joey Forchelli, Adam Giovinco, Tommy Mai, Sean Lawson, Matt Durnin, William Henry, and Connor Dobson, while Merchant Marine was represented by William Badeer, Tucker Kuhn, Michael Hofstetter, and Michael Valentine IV. Mount Saint Mary goalkeeper Kenny Leen rounded out the top squad.

Second Team: The Second Team featured standouts from across the conference, including Merchant Marine’s Owen Barcus, Landon Locke, Dylan Sullivan, Ryan Sullivan, William Schipfer, and Julian Garcia; Maritime’s Thomas McCarvill, Tyler Mahood, Christopher Laino, Nick Spista, and Collin Brush; Mount Saint Vincent’s Chai Dunlap; Mount Saint Mary’s Luke Dombroski; and Farmingdale State defender Logan Reese.
