Schimmenti fueled the Golden Eagles’ 2-0 Skyline week, totaling three goals and three assists across a pair of dominant wins. The sophomore tallied two goals and an assist in the 9-0 victory over Maritime before adding a goal and two assists in a 6-0 triumph over Old Westbury, directly factoring into six of SJLI’s 15 goals on the week.

Defensive Player of the Week

Maria Baldwin, Mt. St. Mary
Senior, Defender; Patchogue, N.Y./Patchogue-Medford

Baldwin anchored a Knights backline that allowed just one goal in a 2-0 Skyline week. The senior leader played all 180 minutes, helping limit Sarah Lawrence to a single goal in Wednesday’s 3-1 win before holding Manhattanville without a shot on target in Saturday’s 1-0 shutout.

Rookie of the Week

Isabella Milburn, Mt. St. Mary
Freshman, Forward; Waterbury, Conn./Holy Cross

Milburn provided an instant spark off the bench for the Knights, tallying a goal and an assist across a pair of Skyline wins. The freshman forward found the back of the net in Wednesday’s 3-1 victory at Sarah Lawrence before setting up the lone score in a 1-0 triumph over Manhattanville. Emerging as MSMC’s top option off the bench, Milburn continues to deliver in key moments early in her collegiate career.
