He went 5 for 8 at the dish at Manhattanville with four runs scored and a solo homer ... In a sweep at St. Joseph's-Long Island, in a rematch of last spring's title game, he registered three doubles on 5-for-9 hitting with three RBI and one run scored ... Heyder's .449 batting average ranks second in the Skyline and 21st nationally in his second year with the Rams ... Also ranks third in the conference in slugging (.692) and OPS (1.203), as well as seventh in on-base percentage (.511).

Demme (above) pitched his first shutout of the season and the fourth of his career at St. Joseph's-Brooklyn ... He gave up three singles (two of which came in the second inning) while not allowing a baserunner past second base in his gem ... He struck out five and didn't issue a walk and then shut out the Bears for the second straight year ... He has a streak of 16 consecutive scoreless innings against St. Joseph's-Brooklyn, dating back to 2023.
Rookie of the Week
Luke Kruer, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Freshman, Outfield;Sellersburg, Ind./Our Lady Of Providence
Kruer (below) put up a .500 batting average (7 for 14) with a 1.588 OPS, 1.000 slugging percentage, four RBI, two doubles, a triple, a home run, and eight runs scored during the Mariners' four games ... He went a perfect 3 for 3 at the plate in the opener of the Mariners' doubleheader against Mount Saint Mary with two doubles, a triple, a solo home run, and two RBI, and hit .667 (4 for 6) with three RBI and six runs scored total in both games to help Kings Point earn a split against the Knights on the road ... He also had three hits and an RBI during the Blue and Gray’s Skyline Conference doubleheader sweep of Old Westbury ... Kruer is first on the Mariners in slugging percentage (.642), RBI (38), home runs (4), and is tied for tops on the team in triples with three.

U.S. Merchant Marine Academy senior infielder Jack Millen hit .533 (8 for 15) with a 1.278 OPS, .667 slugging percentage, .611 OBP, four RBI, eight runs scored, and six steals during the Mariners' four games; his best performance came during the Blue and Gray’s Skyline Conference doubleheader sweep of Old Westbury, 9-2 and 13-0, where he went 6 for 8 (.750) with five runs scored, four steals, a double, and four RBI ... Farmingdale State freshman shortstop Kaolis Delacruz batted .429 (6 of 14) on the Rams' 3-1 Skyline week with two walks, one hit by pitch (.529 OBP), two doubles, his first collegiate homer (.786 slugging), five runs scored and seven RBI; he combined to hit 4 for 6 with four runs scored and as many RBI at Manhattanville and then added a 2-for-4 second game in the sweep at St. Joseph's-Long Island, smashing his first collegiate home run in the process.
