Goss directed the Golden Eagles’ offense to a perfect 3-0 Skyline week, all coming in straight-set victories. The junior setter averaged 11.00 assists, 2.89 digs, and 0.56 service aces per set while totaling 99 assists, 26 digs, five aces, and three block assists across the three matches. She handed out 37 assists with two aces and eight digs in Saturday’s sweep of Mount Saint Vincent after registering 34 assists, 12 digs, and two aces at Sarah Lawrence on Thursday.

Sarah Montefusco, St. Joseph’s - Long Island

Montefusco anchored the Golden Eagles’ back row in a 3-0 Skyline week, averaging 4.56 digs per set and totaling 41 digs, nine assists, and five service aces. The senior recorded 20 digs and two aces in Saturday’s sweep of Mount Saint Vincent, following 10 digs, five assists, and three aces at Sarah Lawrence on Thursday. Montefusco’s consistency in serve-receive and defense helped St. Joseph’s-LI hold its opponents to sub-.100 hitting percentages across the week.
Rookie of the Week
Carissa Zwiefelhofer, St. Joseph’s - Brooklyn
Freshman, Setter/Right Side; North Bend, Wash./Mount Si
Zwiefelhofer turned in an all-around standout performance for the Bears, stuffing the stat sheet with 54 kills, 45 assists, 37 digs and seven service aces across five matches. The first-year right-side/setter posted two triple-doubles—10 kills, 11 assists and 11 digs versus Purchase and 13 kills, 11 assists and 10 digs at Rutgers-Camden—and averaged 3.0 kills, 2.5 assists and 3.64 points per set while hitting .204.

Athena Kazos, Sarah Lawrence - Led the Gryphons to a 2-1 week that secured a postseason berth, totaling 34 kills, 33 digs and five aces while averaging 3.40 kills and 3.30 digs per set
Mariana Medrano, St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn - Averaged 5.75 digs per set over four matches, highlighted by a season-best 34-dig effort at Rutgers-Camden and 24 digs against Farmingdale State
Olivia Richard, Sarah Lawrence - Hit .348 for the week with 19 kills and six blocks, including 12 kills on .545 hitting in the win over St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn, as the Gryphons clinched their playoff spot
