NEW YORK | The United States Merchant Marine Academy will look to continue its long-standing dominance in the pool after being selected as the favorite in the 2025 Skyline Conference Women’s Swimming & Diving Preseason Coaches’ Poll. The Mariners, who have captured the last eight Skyline titles dating back to 2017, received 16 points and four first-place votes from the league’s head coaches.

Sarah Lawrence followed in second place with 12 points and one first-place vote, while Mount Saint Mary placed third with 11 points. St. Joseph’s-Long Island (6 points) and Maritime (5 points) rounded out the poll.

The 2025 Skyline Conference Women’s Swimming & Diving Championship will take place on Saturday–Sunday, January 24–25, at Purchase College in Purchase, N.Y., where all five programs will compete for the league crown.
